Rules for passengers

  • wearing protective masks, except for children up to 6 years old, during the entire stay in the passenger cabin of the aircraft
  • if for health reasons it is not possible to wear a face mask, a medical certificate is required, which is presented at the flight check-in, before  boarding and at the aircraft entry point.
  • avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces and use of ventilation openings
  • each passenger is provided with wet wipes they can use to wipe the seat (backrest, handrails, ventilation openings, etc.)
  • Serving food: in accordance with the recommendations and instructions of domestic and international public health and regulatory authorities, pre-packaged and sealed food and beverage products for consumption during the flight are allowed to be served

Before the flight

• passengers are advised not to travel if one of the following has occurred:

  • they have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in accordance with the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health
  • any of the symptoms characteristic of COVID-19 (fever, newly developed cough, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath), in accordance with the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health
  • the passenger has been in close contact (less than 2 meters and more than 15 minutes) with a person infected with COVID-19, in accordance with the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health
  • boarding of passengers starts earlier because it is conducted in smaller groups, from the rear of the aircraft to the front (5-10 passengers)
  • Physical distance must be maintained at the passenger terminal and when boarding the aircraft
  • allowed size and amount of hand luggage: adapt to the current situation and conditions of transport - women's handbags, smaller backpacks and laptop bags which can be carried over the shoulder are acceptable, larger hand luggage must be handed over at the check-in counter
  • Online check-in enabled
  • It is necessary to checking whether the passengers have filled out the so-called Health Declaration Form in electronic form, depending on the requirements of the country of destination

During the flight

  • Mandatory requirements or recommended etiquette are announced or visually displayed to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus infections during flight
  • Avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces and the use of ventilation openings
  • Minimise movement in the passenger isle except when necessary
  • Passengers must complete the PLF form used to contact passengers if subsequent diagnostic processing reveals that one of the passengers on the flight has tested positive for COVID-19 (Note: depending on the requirements of the country of destination)

Vehicle

  • Sufficient paper towels and disinfectants must be provided to clean vehicle surfaces, as well as POS devices.

4. Buses (temporary and occasional transport):

Rules for drivers

  • It is necessary to disinfect the driver's seat and cabin several times a day, especially surfaces that are frequently touched, such as door handles, steering wheel, worktop.
  • If it does not interfere with safe driving, it is recommended that the driver wears a protective mask while driving. The mask should be changed regularly, and must be replaced whenever it becomes damp and wet. Before and after removing the mask, hands should be washed with warm water and soap or disinfected. After use, disposable masks are placed in garbage bags which are further placed in bins with lids.

Bus

  • Regular cleaning and ventilation of the interior of the vehicle (bus) before and after driving.
  • It is recommended to set up a physical barrier between the driver's seat and the passenger area (made of Plexiglas or similar), and if this is not possible, the first row of seats behind the driver should not be used by passengers.
  • Regular ventilation of the passenger area when at stops. While in motion, use ventilation system to ventilate the interior of the bus.
  • Facilitate and encourage contactless ticket purchase or online purchase, and if classic card payment or cash is used, hands should be disinfected after payment.
  • The number and arrangement of passengers in the seats must allow for the prescribed distance between them. Passengers should sit in a row in such a way that they sit alternately on the furthest seat on the left and the furthest one on the right.

4.     Speedboat and ferry lines

  • wearing protective masks while on board indoors and maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 m between each person
